Week 9
Hey everyone! This week honestly flew by like I literally feel like pday was just yesterday! Here's some stuff that's happened this week :) ...
-We got transfer news this weekend and luckily me and my companion are both staying together and in the same area so we're pretty happy
-it hit 107⁰ outside on a day we had lots of distance to walk. I have so many weird tanlines its so embarrassing haha
-I tried Dutch bros for the first time (it's pretty good but overpriced and way overhyped like its basically expensive chocolate milk)
-theres an antimormon down the street from us and he's wild. He posts pictures of missionaries with all their personal info like names hometowns hobbies families how long theyve been out to his pages and followers (he's honestly kinda a cult leader he's scary) and he posted about me and my companion, but he didn't take a picture with us so he just posted our information and names and all that. I've never met someone who felt more dark and evil. Like he spends ALL his time harming missionaries through conversations, posts, and visits. What a waste of a life in my opinion. Like believe what you want and let others believe what they want. Hes memorized all the scriptures even the ones that our church uses like the book of mormon, pearl of great price and doctrine and covenants (and he believes the book of mormon?... we're confused i dont think he even knows what all he believes because he contradicted himself the whole time he talked to us) he literally skipped his family dinner and picked up his daughter from sports very late just to stop and argue with us. Which wasted HIS time not ours.
- I also got a priesthood blessing yesterday because I was super sick. I get really bad cramps (I won't give too much details don't worry haha) and I was literally crying and panicking in pain at church. We go to 3 sacrament meetings each Sunday and me and my companion missed the entire second one because I was crying and dying and panicking in the bathroom for 45 minutes. I literally wanted to go to the hospital I couldn't move and nothing I did would ease the pain. I asked her if I could get a blessing and one of our favorite bishops was actually there which was A miracle. He gave me a really special blessing (me and my companion cried and she's not an emotional person she told me she hasn't cried in months until then) and I immediately felt better. Like I could've run a marathon yesterday it was immediate relief. So that was super powerful and special :) the power of the priesthood is real and so amazing!
I love and miss you all! Sorry I've sucked at responding to individual emails I promise I read them and love them! I've just had a lot going on taking up most of my time and emotional energy but I will try my best to get back to all of you asap:)
