Week 12

WHAT AN AMAZING WEEK! I'm gonna start in backwards order of my week because this weekend was just way too cool to save for the end.

☆General Conference!☆

 We got to go in person to general conference!! That was my first time ever going and it was seriously the best experience of my life! When the prophet walked into the room the spirit literally flooded the room and your body its indescribable. We also personally met one of the apostles!! HOW CRAZY IS THAT! Gerrit W. Gong walked right up to us after the Sunday afternoon session, introduced himself, asked about us, gave some advice, and let us take a picture with him! It was AMAZING! 

☆No More Facebook☆

Our mission president is taking Facebook off our phones. In Utah, Facebook Finding for missionaries isn't super successful, people are more likely to stumble across the church by literally just walking outside and seeing missionaries everywhere and having tons of neighbors who are members. So our president decided Facebook was pretty much just for our own fun and that it's more of a distraction and time waste. Which is sad because I love making cute posts and doing creative things, but I can totally see why he's doing it and agree with him. We still have messenger so we still have the ability to post and view stories which is nice. sooo yeah sometime this week Facebook will be deleted from my phone I'm not sure when yet (you've probably noticed me posting A LOT lately and now you know why haha, gotta post all the things I had planned before it's gone) 

☆SWEATER WEATHER☆

It's starting to get colderrrrr (which I am not very happy about) As you'll notice in my pics more recently and from now on, I am always in a long sleeve or jacket because I do NOT like feeling cold lol. But the weather has been super nice especially since we walk all day in it. And we've had some super cool thunder and lightning storms this week that me and my companion managed to get cool pictures and videos of.

☆COOKING/BAKING☆ 

As I think i mentioned in my last email, I made a goal to cook at least once a week this transfer. Last week I made spaghetti which turned out super good. How do I know its good, you might ask? Well my companion ate it all, and then today when we shopped bought the same ingredients I used to make her own this week.This week we got tons of stuff to bake goodies for members and our friends and we'll be doing that starting now, but going all the way until Halloween so I'll send pictures of those as we make them :)
