Week 19

Hellooo friends & family! It was a GREAT week to be a missionary :) so far my favorite & best week on my mission, hands down! we had some really awesome things happen!! 


☆ZONE CONFERENCE☆
-we had Zone Conference on Wednesday and it was super fun:) the messages shared and trainings given were really good and I always love seeing the other missionaries. something they talked about i had already been working on is taking care of your mind&spirit and like having reflection times to journal and think. Ive been working on reflecting more and have seen improvements and been much happier & more grateful:) so far I haven't missed a SINGLE day Journaling, starting from my very first day of the at home MTC. sooo I'm pretty proud of that and ill be grateful when I can look back and have a ton of memories from my mission later:) 


☆VISIT FROM ULISSES SOARES☆
-on Friday the 18th, Elder Ulisses Soares, his wife, and some other members of the 70 came to our mission for a conference. It was super cool and we got to gather as a whole mission which was super fun seeing every single missionary. we took a mission picture with him and got to each shake his hand:)) and all the talks given at that conference were super super good! I learned a lot and just enjoyed the strong spirit that was felt:)


☆CAMBULE FAM BAPTISM☆ 
-on Saturday, our friends, the Cambule family, got baptized!! it was such a great day for them! they were so excited and happy, they are truly so grateful to have found the gospel. the mom, Melany, has been so inspiring to me. she's always so grateful and happy to learn more about the gospel and she couldn't stop crying after she was baptized and she just kept smiling & whispering 'thank you' to us. like I've never seen someone so full of PURE joy. she's searched her whole life for the answers and truthfulness that she's finally found:) it makes me want to be more grateful for the gospel in my life. the spirit was SO strong in that room. I LOVE their family and have loved being able to witness the gospel change their lives.


☆2 PDAYS☆ 
-because Thanksgiving is this week, we get 2 pdays. sooo I can talk today & Thursday:))


☆4 MONTHS!!!☆
-this past Friday I hit my 4 month mark as a missionary!! it has genuinely been the best 4 months of my life:) I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve. I've learned so much and just been SO HAPPY. even when bad or hard things happen I'm still just so grateful to be here:)))
