Week 21
Hellooo friends & family! It was a GREAT week to be a missionary filled with lots of JOY & lots of snow haha! here's some of the awesome things I got to experience this week...
☆ESCAPE ROOM☆
-last pday my district did a harry potter themed escape room and it was super fun! we barely made it lol we had like 3 minutes to spare! we also had a sudden snow storm that day so we played and had snowball fights too:) my district is really fun and we're all close I love them :))
☆COOKING☆
-my companion wont let us eat out... like ever. soooo i have to cook all the time which isnt the most time convenient like panda express is just so good every once in a while. but this week i made one of my favorite meals from back home: Skillet Dinners (idk what it really should be called that's just always what my fam called it lol) it tasted SO good I was just scared to cook chicken because I don't wanna get sick... but so far I'm fine so it's all good :))
☆MIRACLES☆
-we found 6 new people this week!! all from door knocking too which is crazy because that's not usually the case and like it was just so good. We went out door knocking Friday and Saturday and found 6 new people in 2 days:))
☆SNOW STORMS☆
-we've had several snow storms this week!! Super super pretty and fun to play in. my district & zone had several intense snowball fights lol
☆CAMBULE FAM MOVED☆
-our best friends had a bad living situation and were forced to leave within 42 hours... they were going to get dropped off in Provo with no money or place to stay or ANYTHING. But their ward was able to find them a place super close by in Tooele and everything about it has been a MIRACLE. Their new ward has tons of Portuguese speaking members and neighbors and they have their own apartment and work opportunities. when we heard the good news we just cried and prayed to Heavenly Father thanking him for protecting and being mindful of that beautiful family. They're no longer in our boundaries so new missionaries will teach them their after baptism lessons, but we will always stay in contact and remember them.
Sorry my email is so late, it was a crazy busy day! I love you all and pray for you. Remember that you are loved this Holiday Season and don't hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything:)
