Week 23
Hellooo friends & family! It was a very busy but great week to be a missionary! here's some of the main events from this week:
☆MEETING BRAD WILCOX!!!!☆
-on the 18th (yesterday) Brad Wilcox came and had a Christmas Devotional in Tooele for the ysa members and we got to go! I learned SO much deeper information about the Christmas story and nativity and also got to meet him and take pictures. He was so funny and smart and kind. He is definitely one of my favorite people I am so glad I got to meet him :)
☆NEW COMP☆
-the moment you've all been waiting for..... my new companion is Sister Bealer! I am follow up Training her sooo its 2 fairly newer missionaries in our area but we are excited. So far each of the companions I've had have been exact opposites of the one before.. so it's been weird adjusting, but we hopefully will get along despite our differences.
☆12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS☆
-my mom sent some fun 12 days of Christmas presents for me and my companion and its been super fun opening one each night :))
☆MIRACLES☆
-our 15 year old friend Evan is getting baptized this upcoming week!! He's been scared to ask his parents so we had a tonnn of people praying for him including us and when he asked his parents said YES! he is so excited and we are excited for him:))
☆BAKING☆
-i made tons of gingerbread people and snowflake sugar cookies and some little Caramel brownies this week for our friends :)) it was super fun and baking has been therapeutic for me lately
☆5 MONTHS☆
-i hit my 5 months mark this week! Honestly time is flying by so fast. I have loved my mission more than anything and I am so grateful I made the decision to come. I know that this was exactly what I needed to do with my life and the people who have come into my life are the best.
Sorry I've been slacking answering emails these past few weeks! It's been super busy but I will try to catch up asap:)
