Week 25

Hellooo friends & family! Sorry its so late! Happy New Year!! I had one crazy wild ride of a year, but it was SO good. Its crazy to think of where i was, who i was with, what i was doing, etc... a year ago. Completely different life and path than now, its so wild.  I am so grateful for the changes that were made and to be doing the things im doing now and meeting the people ive met. Im happy with where im at, and i hope you all are too :) here's some of my week's main events (it was a fun one)...

☆SUS REFERRAL...☆
-on Monday we recieved a self referral (someone referred themselves to us to be taught) and it seemed fine... until he started asking questions that felt uncomfortable and answering things strangely. we got a weird feeling about him and couldn't figure out what was up so our district leader and his companions offered to come with us to our next lesson to see if he reacted different to boy missionaries or if they could catch the same vibes... we still can't put it together what's up or whats wrong, he could be a totally normal nice person, but the Elders have agreed we should continue having Elders with us in any lesson with him. I'll keep yall updated as that goes on haha

☆SQUAD GOALS☆
-we saw our homies SO much this week haha. we are pretty close with our district leader's trio companionship and saw each other SO many times. We got soda, celebrated one elder's birthday, held husky puppies, went to our sus lesson together (and a few other lessons, they made sure we were still safe and felt fine in our area during those weird days of our possible creepy referral) , ate food... fun week plus we've had tons of extra pdays because of holidays so we've literally seen them SO much. You learn to make friends quickly on the mission. I love all the missionaries in my district and zone, they're like family already. My companion has all sisters and has never been around dumb boys or played rough or lived that way so she gets so excited to see them and tells them all they're her fake brothers. I'm pretty used to it since I have all brothers, but it's super fun!

☆MIRACLES☆
-We showed up to a house for an appointment with someone, who was VERY not interested. buttttt his brother and sister were! And their mom approves so we ended up still finding new people:)) and they're an awesome family

☆SNOW STORMS/DRIFTING
-we had some wild snow storms this past weekend, our holiday pday's were kinda canceled and we were all snowed in and not allowed to meet other missionaries in person which was sad.... but we called our district because we're all best friends and that was fun. The snow was so thick it went all the way up to the top of my shins.... (granted I am super short, but still CRAZY amounts of snow) I'm the designated driver in my companionship... but I'm just a Texas gal who never has snow haha! sooo I've had some fun and scares dealing with drifting and road craziness! My companion is probably terrified every time we get in the car bahaha but I've gotten better.

Enjoy the pics :)))
