Week 26

Hellooo friends & family! I hope you had a great first week of 2023!! It's a new year! New goals, new friendships, new lessons, new opportunities, new everything :)) I hope you are making the best of all these new opportunities, I know im trying to :)

☆VISIT FROM UCHTDORF☆
-one of our wards was becoming very large... like over 850 people so they had to rearrange boundaries. they shifted the boundaries of 2 wards and added a new one. sooo now we cover 16 wards and are missing 3 ward mission leaders and all the leadership is being rearranged which is super stressful and a little chaotic. but one of the new bishops called is Elder Uchtdorf's grandson and so he made a surprise visit that none of the members were aware of until they showed up to the meeting. It was super super cool to hear from him he's one of my favorite apostles :))

☆MIRACLES !!!☆
-we were able to put 3 of our friends on date for baptism this week!! so we currently have 5 friends on date to be baptized! 1 is set for January, and the other 4 are the very beginning of February and thats super exciting! we are so grateful to be able to teach them and prepare them for that big step in their journey closer to Jesus Christ :) And our friend Evan, who got baptized right before Christmas, got the priesthood this past Sunday!! It's truly an amazing feeling watching your friends progress before and after baptism and see how happy the gospel makes people:)

☆ZONE CONFERENCE☆
-we had our zone conference this past week! zone conference is honestly one of my favorite parts of each transfer. I always participate in the music numbers, get to see other missionaries, learn lots of good lessons and trainings. they're just super awesome:) one of the senior couple missionaries is leaving soon so they gave a departing testimony to us and they are just couple goals. I LOVE them. they love each other so much and love God and I aspire to marry someone who treats me that good, looks at me that sweetly and loves God that much. they are inspiring and I'm glad I was able to meet them and be influenced by their example

☆LESSON FOR ME☆
-i listened to SO many general conference talks this week, most from Jeffrey R Holland (because he's my favorite and his talks always hit hard and make me cry) and the Elders were with us at one of our Stake Patriach's home and our district leader suggested a talk for that family to watch, and so they pulled it up right then and there and we watched it with them. It was a talk that I've been looking for, for almost 6 months! As soon as I heard it I just started crying it's a REALLY inspiring talk about the atonement that had really touched me, and it was super frustarting not being able to find it. I felt like that lesson was for me more than those members honestly and it was really touching. And it definitely answered my prayers and comforted me.

I love and miss yall <3 Enjoy the pics :)))
