Week 28

Hellooo friends & family! I almost missed a weekly email haha... but better late than never. I hit 6 months on my mission! And this week i turn 20.... How crazy! Time has been FLYING by! I love my mission :)) Here's some of this week's main events...

☆MICHELLE D. CRAIG☆
-last Tuesday, Michelle D Craig came to our mission and we had a mission conference with just the Sisters which was super awesome! There were several workshops about Love Languages, Companionships, Mental Health & burnouts, and then finding Joy in our Waiting Places (finding joy in the hard times). Super awesome and uplifting conference :))

☆HEART ATTACKING :))☆
-me and my companion "heart attacked" a ton of members who we love or are struggling and it was such a fun service. the responses to our actions were actually so sweet. serving others brings true joy! always always always serve others :)))

☆PAKA !! ☆
-we got to visit our favorite person ever Don several times which was awesome :) it's always a blast with him, we brought our fav elders with us and always had such a blast. Don has the deepest doctrinal insights and most poetic eloquent words. Ive learned so much from him in the few months ive known him. Plus he takes care of us like our grandpa/paka. We LOVE him :))

☆TRANSFERS !!!!!☆
-me & Sister Bealer are staying together, and trio training ! We are so excited! We picked up our new companion today from the mission office :)) me and Sister bealer get along really good so I'm excited to train with her and stay with her! Our new missionary's name is Sister Mechan & she is a cutie. love her already :)) (even though I've only known her for like... 4 hours haha) Also, this transfer brought a LOT of change... our whole district and zone are tons of new people. which is exciting obviously, but we were REALLY close with everyone so it's super sad to lose them for now. Our district felt like family, and will hopefully keep up contact. but all that aside, i am super excited for the possibilities this upcoming transfer :)

☆HOPE☆
-lately I've been studying "HOPE." My absolute favorite apostle is Jeffrey R Holland. anyone who knows me knows this fact haha. He is amazing and heaven-sent. I studied over a dozen of his talks this week and so many of them are about Hope, Overcoming, Trials, Long-Suffering, etc.... awesome uplifting topics. One specific talk we studied was 'A Perfect Brightness of Hope' and it was pretty amazing. Here's some of my fav quotes from that:
•"...why should we not hope that righteous desires and Christlike yearnings can still be marvelously, miraculously answered by the God of all hope?”
•"We all need to believe that what we desire in righteousness can someday, someway, somehow yet be ours."
•"We have every reason to hope for blessings even greater than those we have already received because this is the work of Almighty God."

I suck at answering emails... i'll get better!! Enjoy the pics I love yall :)))
