Week 34
Hellooo friends & family! Crazy crazy news !!!! Here's some of this week's main events...
☆TRANSFER NEWS.... STL????☆
- yesterday we got the news.... I'm being transferred!! And being an STL?? I'm shocked and scared but grateful for the opportunity! I feel like I definitely don't know enough I've only been out for like 7 months haha! But I'll do my best and God does the rest. I'm gonna miss Sister Bealer though she's my bestie. We joke that we are trauma bonded because we have been through some wack things together. We started as the most awkward out of all my companions but have grown the closest which is funny. I love her, she's a life-long bestie for sure.
☆MARSHA IS GETTING BAPTIZED !!☆
-our almost 82 year old friend is getting baptized! I am SO BUMMED to get transfered for it but I feel blessed to have met her and taught her. She is always so confused and stubborn and had a thousand questions and in our lesson with her she just went, "I have no questions... it all makes sense, I guess the next step is to be baptized huh?" Me and Sister Bealer looked at each other SO excited and happy and we helped her pick a date and plan her program. We are SO excited for her!!!!!! You can just feel how much God loves her when you're around her, she's so special. She's this tiny, frail, old lady and I literally love her with all my heart!
☆LISTEN TO THE SPIRIT☆
-I have had several experiences this week that were super cool involving following promptings and listening to the spirit. On Friday i had a sudden strong feeling in the morning that i would be leaving my area and felt like i needed to write letters to 2 of our members we visit weekly. I prayed before i started and then i just let the pen roll. I wrote some very specific things and promises that felt kinda random but i didnt question i just wrote my feelings and thoughts. On Sunday we visited those friends (and right before we went, i had received the news i was going to be transferred and an STL) and one of our friends had an awful day and cried to us.... about exact trials i wrote in my letter to her.... i was so shocked! I handed them the letters and they both cried as they read them. I am so grateful i listened to the spirit and was able to be part of that event. Crazy stuff! I also randomly felt prompted to get a car wash on Friday even though it couldve waited until pday... and when we showed up and a teenage boy was there and said he's been thinking about serving a mission and felt like he needed to ask us. We felt so cool arriving at the right time. The spirit is so cool i LOVE it! So many times we think "is this from God or just me thinking this?" but in reality if it is inspiring us to do something good it is from God. [MORONI 7:13] Always act on the promptings you get, the miracles will follow :)))
