Week 39
Hellooo friends & family! We had a crazy snowstorm the first couple days of the week!! Like lil blizzard out of nowhere.... butttt right now it's in the 60's-70's all of a sudden and I LOVE it!! so much for spring haha! here's some of this week's main events...
☆SNOWSTORM IN APRIL☆
-Tuesday it snowed like CRAZY. It was freezing cold and super windy and lots and lots of snow! Everyone here is so done with the snow it made us so sad but luckily wasn't all week
☆BLITZ☆
-on Saturday we did what's called a "blitz" in one of the areas of our zone that was struggling. It was so fun half the zone went to West Jordan and we all just went crazy in that one small area and saw miracles! We found several new people for those missionaries and set several people on date for baptism! And after we got custard which was amazing and super fun! I saw some non members from my first area at the custard place that I had taught so that was fun!
☆MIRACLES☆
-We had a great week! The lessons with our friends were all amazing! We have 4 friends on date for baptism, one for this upcoming Friday (he is SO stoked) and 3 next Saturday!! April has been so miracle filled so far! And there's only 2 weeks left of the transfer so thats crazy!! Time is flying by so fast!
☆EASTER☆
-Easter is the best! It's a holiday celebrating one of the most important events to ever happen: Jesus Christ's Atonement (including 1st Christ's suffering in the garden of Gethsemane, 2nd Christ's death on the cross, and 3rd his Resurrection on the 3rd day) Because of Jesus Christ, we can overcome all trials, suffering, sadness, stress, unfairness, disabilities, death .... everything! Jesus Christ is the best!

-Since my companion is assigned as a sign language missionary just temporarily in an English area, we've been able to utilize that skill with some autistic children we work with. It has been so fun to learn more sign language!! I love it! One of the girls we are currently teaching has a deaf neighbor who my companion knows from being in the deaf ward. We were able to teach our friend and the little deaf girl participated so we taught the lesson speaking and signing and several neighborhood kids joined in. It was so fun!
