Week 49

Hellooo friends & family! Honestly a harder week on my mission, but still a week I'm grateful for. Sorry my email is a day late its been wild haha! here's some of this week's main events...

☆TONGAN EXCHANGES☆

-we went on Exchanges with our sisters serving in the Tongan area this week! I stayed in Magna and Sister Thomas came and she's served in one of my stakes a few transfers ago so it was fun for her haha! She is WILD! you should see the way she can get into any door. It's almost scary, she is a social QUEEN, sometimes a little wild but it was a super fun day! We got to cruise around Magna in a 56 Chevy which was super awesome too! 

☆JUST ONE ZONE...☆

- we now only cover one zone, the one that actually has sisters. Which is much easier, but sad because we were best friends with the missionaries in our old zone. It'll be a great relief though to not have to be in 2 places at once. So that prayer was answered haha! 

☆KATA☆

-last Monday, Elder Kata who served in this mission but finished in April passed away. It was truly shocking, as it usually is for someone who's this young and someone you literally saw a few months ago. I met him my first week of my mission because he was in my zone, and also was my trainer's first cousin and they were very close. I saw him wayyy more than we should've because they were family haha! He always made everyone laugh and was a great friend. We had a zoom meeting as a mission Monday night to share our favorite memories and I guess mourn together. It was a very hard day in the mission with many tears shed. But he served a great mission and is now serving the Lord up in New ways that are probably super epic. He'll definitely be missed down here though.
