Week 51
Hellooo friends & family! I hope you all had a Happy 4th of July!! i am SO grateful for the freedoms that we enjoy in this country:)) my email is late as usual lol... I'll get better soon!
A little different format than normal this week....
Lots of fun awesome things happened this week, but more importantly, I'd like to share my testimony and beliefs with you that were strengthened this week through the people I met and situations I was in.
I KNOW that the Plan of Salvation is true, and that it's the plan God has for each of us. He wants us to make it back to him SO SO bad. He loves us! The Plan of Salvation answers the important questions of, "Where did we come from? Why are we here? & Where are we going?" It brings so much hope to my life! We taught this lesson a lot this week and 2 people stuck out to me that I wanted to share with you all :) The first person we taught this plan to this week was Ayden. She is 11 years old and finds religion "very interesting" (exactly how she says it haha!) We taught her the Plan of Salvation and she believes it! She said it makes sense it's just that simple! Ayden has so much faith and trusts the feelings that the Holy Ghost helps her feel. The second person we taught this plan to was Iris, who's 14 years old. In our lesson we were talking about some commandments but she started asking questions and expressing concerns that the Plan of Salvation answers! So we turned it around and changed plans. The spirit was SO strong and we could tell she felt it too. She started off so concerned and stressed at the beginning of the lesson asking questions about what happens after we die and what judgement is like and throughout the whole lesson she just had a huge smile on her face. She constantly said "awww that makes me so happy" or "wow I never really thought of it that way" The Plan of Salvation brought her relief and hope and replaces her feelings of guilt and fear. We testified throughout the whole lesson of how much God loves his children, especially her, and how much he wants us each back to Heaven with him. We talked about all the many chances he gives us and gift of choosing for ourselves. Seeing the Plan of Salvation touch these peoples lives especially this young of people, was SO TOUCHING! I know it brings hope to my life and it's so special being able to share that hope with others. I know this Plan is true and that God loves each of us so very much! He wants YOU back with him someday!
Enjoy my pics from this week :) They can kinda show the fun events that took place in my week haha! I love & miss yall :)))
