40 DAYS!!!

Hellooo friends & family! As of today, i have exactly 40 DAYS until i finish my mission.... that is CRAZY! here's some of this week's main events:

☆ZONE CONFERENCE☆
-on Tuesday, we had our zone conference! It was amazing as usual, I always love zone conference so much. We talked about repentance A LOT and how crucial that is and the fundamentals of repentance. I learned a lot:) our mission president invited us to be genuine "repenters" all our lives and do everything in our power to remain worthy of the companionship of the Holy Ghost and I want to strive to keep that commitment he extended to us and I re extend those invitations to each of you:))

☆TEMPLE TRIP☆
-on Friday, our zone went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple which was super fun!! I LOVE the temple and the peace it brings. I love taking questions and concerns and just praying about them there. On our way out I got to see an old friend from my time serving in Stansbury and that made my whole week! It was such an unexpected surprise caught in pictures since we were all taking pictures when he came up to say hi! What a small world living in Utah :)) I love it!

☆PARABLE OF THE SLOPE☆
-i listened to a lot of old general conference talks this week and I learned a lot! One that really stuck out to me that I wanted to share was this talk: Becoming More in Christ: The Parable of the Slope. Here are some of my favorite quotes from this awesome talk! I'll also leave the link below so yall can go and read the talk:)))

"In the Lord’s timing, it is not where we start but where we are headed that matters most."

"Our future will be determined far less by our starting point and much more by our slope. Jesus Christ sees divine potential no matter where we start."

"No matter where we start, Christ considers what we do with what we are given."

For any struggling with difficult starting points, please recognize that the Savior knows our struggles. He took “upon him [our] infirmities, that his bowels [might] be filled with mercy, … that he [might] know … how to succor [us] according to [our] infirmities.”

"We have all drunk from wells we did not dig, and warmed ourselves by fires we did not build." [Rex E Lee]

"...focusing on a high starting point can often trap us into feeling that we are thriving when in fact our inner slope may be quite stagnant."

"Whether we start in abundant or difficult circumstances, let us keep our sights and our slopes pointed heavenward. As we do, Christ will lift us to a higher place. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

Anyways, enjoy my pics from this week, i love & miss yall! See yall in 40 days... :)))
