Hellooo friends & family! This week was COLD! We got 2 feet of snow! And superrrr slow & sad, Here's some of the main events... ☆ SNOWED IN !!☆ -this week we got some CRAZY winter storms !! The snow had finally melted and days warmed up.... and then boom: 2 feet of snow, reaching ABOVE OUR KNEES! no missionaries were supposed to drive for a day so we got snowed in, honestly we couldn't have left the house if we wanted to. Our car was completely buried in snow, the snow blocked lots of our door, and one of my companions was having a bad mental health day. But that was wild ☆MIRACLES☆ - we were able to find a new person! We haven't found a new person in forever it's been so hard, but the older brother of someone we are teaching is now taking the lessons from us too :) and our friend Jorge who got baptized in January and recieved the priesthood recently, WENT TO THE TEMPLE FOR THE FIRST TIME :))) he LOVED it! He was able to take family names and get baptized for th...

Hellooo friends & family! This week was a long one! Here's some of the main events... ☆TEMPLE TRIP !!☆ -on Friday we got to go to the Jordan River Temple !! It was amazing! I highly recommend going if you haven't been in a while, there's some new additions and they're awesome!! That day was so hectic and chaotic and awful honestly so the temple was a little sanctuary of peace for the day. And we took some fun pictures as companions since we missed our zone pictures... and zone's session.... like I said it was a rough day haha! ☆THE CRAZY & BAD LOL....☆ -this week had a ton of moments where it just seemed to either bad news on top of bad news or bad thing after bad thing it was wild (still good moments for sure but here's some funny things we can laugh at now) So we found out there was a mountain Lion like 3 or 4 houses down from us.... kinda scary. We found out that there's a creepy old man also like 3-4 houses down who is always drunk and likes litt...

Hellooo friends & family! This week was a long one! Both spiritually uplifting and physically exhausting, but always a great week because its another week spent serving Jesus Christ :)) Here's some of this week's main events... ☆ EVAN A. SCHMUTZ !! ☆ -This Wednesday we had our zone conference and Evan A Schmutz was there and spoke to us. He was here for our mission tour (honestly I don't even know much about what that is so don't ask me haha) and the things he said were truly inspiring and relevant. We used some of his councils and trainings and messages and applied it to our friends lessons and because of it, we were able to help someone decide they want to be baptized!! He talked a lot about repentance which is a super important thing! Repenting (changing for the better) daily is so crucial and really adds up as you strive to be better each day. It's something I definitely want to continue to work better at :) ☆ COMP UNITY <3 ☆ -Although it's been some ...

Hellooo friends & family! This week was an absolute roller coaster of emotions. Scary moments of having to be the "man" of our house & protect my chicken comps to hilarious moments where we literally died laughing after a failed door approach to the sweetest moment of hearing your friend bear his testimony in church after being baptized for only a few weeks. Here's some of this week's main events... ☆SISTER MACHEN'S FUNNIEST MOMENT☆ -one evening we were knocking some doors that had been suggested to us by some members and the funniest thing ever happened. We let our new missionary lead this one and it went like this... *At a door* Us: Hello, how are you? Person: Mentally ill, how about you? Sister Machen: Hi, I'm Sister Machen and I'm pretty good. Everyone except Sister Machen(even the nonmember haha): *dies of laughter* The only reason this was so funny was that she wasn't joking. She's been working on developing listening skills... becaus...
