Hellooo friends & family! I hope you all had a great Christmas!! The holidays made missionary work a bit slower in some aspects with everyone busy or traveling, but we still had an awesome week :) here's some of my week's main events: ☆EVANS BAPTISM☆ -Our friend Evan was baptized on December 22nd!! It was such an amazing experience! He had SO much support! The people attending filled up our entire chapel! He invited his family, cross country team, seminary class, some teachers, and lots of friends and members from our stake. One of his close friends was able to baptize him and that was such a special experience! ☆CHRISTMAS DEVOTIONAL☆ -On Friday & Saturday, the mission split for some Christmas devotionals. What was super awesome was that I got to see all of my past companions and even take a picture with all 3 of the companions I've had on my mission so far  haha! My trainer is still my fav comp:) love you Sister Eteaki.  The Devotional was super good I LOVE Christm...

Christmas Email

ME RRY CHRISTMAS! I just wanted to share a quick Christmas message :)) (ill still send my normal weekly email tomorrow)  Christmas is the BEST time of the year:)) I love Christmas for SO many reasons: Christmas music, giving & receiving gifts (my love language), family traditions, and especially the overall worldwide focus on Jesus Christ. A focus that definitely should happen all year long, but for many people, mostly happens around significant religious holidays. Jesus Christ is the reason for this season. Jesus Christ, the Savior & Messiah of the whole world, was born in a humble stable to loving parents. Some of the first people to meet Jesus after being born were humble shepherds after being visited by angels. Those Shepherds are great examples to us now about accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior. When they were told about their Lord's birth, they did not delay their receiving but hastened to meet their king. [LUKE 2:16] "Jesus Christ was and is our first & fo...

I learned SO much deeper information about the Christmas story and nativity and also got to meet him and take pictures. He was so funny and smart and kind. He is definitely one of my favorite people I am so glad I got to meet him :) ☆NEW COMP☆ -the moment you've all been waiting for..... my new companion is Sister Bealer! I am follow up Training her sooo its 2 fairly newer missionaries in our area but we are excited. So far each of the companions I've had have been exact opposites of the one before.. so it's been weird adjusting,  but we hopefully will get along despite our differences. ☆12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS☆ -my mom sent some fun 12 days of Christmas presents for me and my companion and its been ...

Hellooo friends & family! It was another awesome week to be a missionary!... one of the most emotionally difficult (hence the long paragraphs this week... sorry about that) but it's all good now:) here's some of the main events from this week:  ☆TRANSFER NEWS...☆ -we usually get our transfer news on saturday night, but our mission president is changing things up. He only told people who are leaving their areas on Sunday night. Then tonight he will send out the full transfer board to see where we go and who our companions will be. Super weird. But my companion is being transfered and i am staying:)) once you read the rest of this email, you'll see why that news makes me happy and at peace  but anyways I find out my new companion tonight :)  ☆COMP FIGHTS....☆ -lol I am a lover, not a fighter. I'm also a people pleaser so I never admit if something is upsetting me I just deal with everything. but this week, me and my companion got in an actual fight (both instigated an...
